Remembering the Self
In our recent Inner Compass Academy class, The Watcher and the Way, we explored the psycho-spiritual relationship between ego and Self, a tension at the heart of both Jungian depth psychology and Eastern contemplative traditions like Raja Yoga. While the traditions use different language, both point toward the same inner paradox: there is more to us than our thoughts, identities, or ambitions. And we’ve forgotten.
Here’s the paradox: the ego must develop. But the ego alone cannot carry us home.
