Where Do You Draw the Line Between Dedication and Self-Abandonment?

The line between being committed and being consumed...

Or maybe the better question is—what’s actually yours to carry in the first place?

This video clip, taken from one of my recent retreats, opens a conversation that’s long overdue in our culture:
What happens when you stop glorifying burnout and start honoring your limits?
What does it look like to value your energy as much as your output?

In this clip, I’m reflecting on generational shifts—how younger generations, especially Gen Z, are challenging outdated work norms through practices like “quiet quitting,” which is really just code for setting a boundary. And honestly? I’m here for it.

In my time as a corporate director I witnessed “high-performers” cry over client decks like the fate of the world depended on a PowerPoint. It didn’t. No one was going to die. And yet, so many of us were taught to treat every demand as urgent, every email as a test of our worth.

So here’s the real invitation:
What would it take for you to start choosing your wellbeing over your fear of being seen as lazy, difficult, or not enough?
And more importantly—what tools do you need to actually uphold those boundaries in a system that doesn’t naturally support them?

Paid subscribers get access to this full length video workshop (previously only accessible to my retreat goers), as well as other video workshops, exclusive writing and audio content, and live Q&A’s with me.

Our April live Q&A session for paid subscribers is happening 4/24 at 11am PT! This is a chance to ask questions, share your experiences, and gain deeper clarity on what boundaries mean for you. You can also submit any topic or question for me to cover ahead of time.
